Forest Friends Red Christmas Bauble
ITEM #: 67921
The Forest Friends Red Christmas Bauble tells a tiny woodland story, with forest animals gathered beneath a starry sky on a rich red background. Handmade in Kashmir, India, this 3-inch ornament is crafted from recycled-paper paper mache and individually hand-painted by skilled artisans. Its textured surface and detailed scene give it the unmistakable character of something made by hand rather than mass produced.
MATERIAL: Paper Mache made from recycled paper, 100% biodegradable
INCLUDES: 1 Handmade, Paper Mache Christmas Ornament
Hang Forest Friends where the painted scene can be seen from more than one angle, or bring several colors from the collection together across the tree. The red background slips easily into traditional Christmas decorating while the woodland subject gives it a personality all its own.
There’s a lot happening on this little 3-inch bauble. Forest animals gather beneath a sky filled with stars, turning the rounded surface into a miniature illustrated scene. The texture of the paper mache remains visible beneath the hand painting, adding another layer to the artwork.
Let the red background connect this ornament with classic Christmas colors by placing it among deep green branches, red accents and warm tree lights. For a more collected look, mix it with the other Forest Friends baubles so the different colored woodland scenes appear throughout the tree.
