Forest Friends Sky Blue Bauble
ITEM #: 67917
A tiny forest scene unfolds across the Forest Friends Sky Blue Bauble, with woodland animals gathered beneath a star-filled sky. The 3-inch ornament is handmade in Kashmir, India, from recycled-paper paper mache and painted individually by skilled artisans. The textured surface of the paper mache gives the artwork a different character from glass, while natural variations in the hand painting make each piece individual.
MATERIAL: Paper Mache made from recycled paper, 100% biodegradable
INCLUDES: 1 Handmade, Paper Mache Christmas Ornament
Give this ornament a visible branch where you can see the scene rather than hiding it deep within the tree. Forest Friends works naturally with collections built around woodland animals, winter scenes or handmade ornaments, and its lightweight paper mache construction makes it easy to place throughout the tree.
The design feels like a small story painted around a bauble. Forest animals gather together beneath a starry sky, with the rounded shape allowing the scene to continue as you turn the ornament. Since each one is hand-painted, subtle differences are part of the finished piece.
Use the sky-blue background to break up traditional reds and greens, or surround Forest Friends with woodland ornaments, natural textures and other wintry designs. Several of the Kashmir paper mache baubles can also be grouped together to create a colorful section of the tree devoted to handmade artistry.
