Angel on High depicts a Christmas angel poised above soft clouds, her flowing red gown framed by dark, feathered wings. She carries a flowering branch in one hand and a basket filled with colorful gifts in the other. Issued in 1998, this painting belongs to a collection inspired by Christopher Radko’s personal collection of antique Victorian Christmas cards. Commissioned to bring the warmth and classic elegance of Christmas past into the home, these works celebrate the nostalgic imagery of an earlier era.
