The Nick-o-Time Story
This pocket watch is named Nick-o-Time.
On the quarter hour his face winks and chimes.
Nick is tightly wound and ever punctual,
with hand movements that are perpetual.
Like his grandfather, Santa keeps Nick’s key,
a fact he proudly shares with glee.
He is always in Santa’s pocket or nearby,
keeping Claus and the team on time and spry,
whether on land or in the sky.
At night as everyone drifts off to sleep,
a watchful eye for all he keeps,
tic-tocking in the company of the mice and sheep,
until it is time for his first morning bleep.
Nick-O-Time is a 2.25-inch JingleNog glass ornament fashioned after an old-fashioned Santa pocket watch, complete with a decorative gold chain. One side features Santa’s rosy face with sweeping white mustache, beard, bright blue eye and glittering red nose; turn it over to reveal glossy jewel-red glass covered in green glitter vines, leaves and Czech crystal accents. Mouth blown, hand painted, glittered and silver lined in Poland, it’s an ornament designed to be noticed from both sides.

Hang Nick-O-Time from his decorative gold pocket-watch chain and let the chain become part of the display rather than hiding it in the branches. At 2.25 inches, he also works well tucked among Santa ornaments, nostalgic Christmas pieces or a collection of smaller European glass ornaments.
There are really two designs to discover. Santa’s expressive portrait fills one side, while the reverse becomes a glossy jewel-red surface traced with green glitter vines and leaves. Clear Czech crystals sparkle like tiny berries, and the decorative gold chain completes the miniature pocket-watch illusion.
Give Nick-O-Time a front-facing branch where Santa’s face can peek out from the tree, or turn the ornament around when you want more traditional red and green. His small medallion shape also makes an interesting contrast beside elongated finials, sculpted Santas and larger statement ornaments.
