The Leo Story
This regal lion is the keeper of the Arctic Circle’s key.
His name is Leo and he is JingleNog’s emcee,
charged with welcoming all visiting company,
and entertaining travelling dignitaries.
Crowned before he was fully grown,
dust has grown thick on this king’s throne,
for a life of service is all King Leo has ever known.
Leo’s quiet strength and generosity are renowned,
only acts and decrees of kindness this king performs.
This gentle lion speaks only intone,
has never growled or thrown a stone,
and he spreads peace, love and cheer to every home.
Leo is a 6-inch royal lion dressed from crown to paw in jewel-red robes, white-and-gold trim and sparkling Czech crystals. His enormous coppery-gold glittered mane frames a metallic gold face, while ornate scrollwork, jeweled belt and tiny crown give his costume its regal character. Turn him around to discover his curled gold tail ending in a glittered tuft. This sterling silver-lined glass ornament is mouth blown, hand painted and glittered in Poland.
