Forest Friends Orange Christmas Bauble
ITEM #: 67920
The Forest Friends Orange Christmas Bauble wraps a lively woodland scene around a hand-painted paper mache ornament, with forest animals gathered beneath a star-filled night sky. Handmade in Kashmir, India, each 3-inch bauble is crafted from recycled paper and painted individually by skilled artisans. The orange background gives this version of Forest Friends a warm, unexpected color while the textured surface and detailed artwork reflect the character of traditional paper mache craftsmanship.
MATERIAL: Paper Mache made from recycled paper, 100% biodegradable
INCLUDES: 1 Handmade, Paper Mache Christmas Ornament
Give Forest Friends a branch where you can turn the bauble and see the woodland scene from different angles. The orange color works especially well among deeper greens and traditional Christmas colors, or include it in a collection of animal, nature-inspired or individually hand-painted ornaments.
The orange background is an unexpected setting for a winter woodland scene, making the animals and starry sky especially noticeable. Beneath the painted artwork is the subtle texture of paper mache, so the surface itself becomes part of the character of this handmade ornament.
Tuck the orange bauble among deep green branches to emphasize its warm color, or place it near the other Forest Friends designs for a collection of woodland scenes in different palettes. It can also bring an interesting color break to a tree filled with traditional reds, greens and metallics.
