About Christopher Radko Christmas Ornaments

Christopher Radko is an iconic name in glass Christmas ornaments. Dubbed the “Czar of Christmas Present” by The New York Times, he began designing and producing glass christmas ornaments, gifts and home décor items in 1986. Radko is credited with having brought the fine European glass Christmas ornament tradition back to America.

Christmas ornaments designed by Christopher Radko have been displayed in the White House, the Governor’s Mansion in Connecticut, the Gracie Mansion mayoral home in New York City and historic Woodlawn Plantation in Virginia. His work is also found in private collections of celebrities including Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert DeNiro, Bruce Springsteen, Hugh Jackman, Lauren Bacall, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ben Affleck and the late greats Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck and Katharine Hepburn.

Retired Radko Ornaments

Radko ornaments are retired after a certain production period. When an Radko ornament is placed on a retirement list, this means that the specific Christopher Radko ornament may still be available through Radko retailers, but that Radko ornament will no longer be made by the Christopher Radko Company. Approximately 1/3 of the current Radko ornaments retire annually to prepare for new Christopher Radko glass ornaments designs.
